Position Overview
3 Idea Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Retail Store Development & Setup who will be responsible for establishing and developing the company's retail segment.
The candidate will own the end-to-end setup and execution of retail stores/outlets, starting from planning and location readiness through infrastructure, interiors, branding, technology installation and final store launch. The person will also be responsible for creating a standardized and scalable retail store setup model for future expansion.
What you'll do
- Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of end-to-end retail store setup and development.
- Develop and execute the retail store rollout plan in line with business objectives.
- Plan store requirements including layout, interiors, infrastructure, fixtures, displays, branding and equipment.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, vendors and other external agencies.
- Manage civil, electrical, interior, branding, signage and other store-related activities.
- Identify and manage vendors for store setup, procurement and execution.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality, timelines and cost efficiency.
- Prepare project plans, budgets and timelines for new store launches.
- Monitor the complete project execution and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of 3D printers, machines, displays and other technology products at retail outlets.
- Ensure the store is fully operational and launch-ready within the defined timeline.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and other internal teams for smooth store launches.
- Develop SOPs, checklists and standard processes for retail store setup.
- Establish standardized store formats that can be replicated across multiple locations.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective utilization of the approved budget.
- Resolve execution-related issues and ensure minimal delays in store setup.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress of ongoing store projects.
- Manage multiple store setup projects simultaneously, wherever required.
- Support the company in retail expansion and development of the retail network.
What we're looking for
- Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in retail store development, retail expansion, store setup, retail projects or retail operations.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end store setup projects.
- Strong understanding of retail interiors, infrastructure, branding, fixtures, electrical and installation activities.
- Experience in managing vendors, contractors, architects and external agencies.
- Strong project management and execution capabilities.
- Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for store visits, site inspections and project execution.
- Candidates from retail, consumer electronics, technology, showroom, retail expansion or similar industries will be preferred.
