About the role
We are looking for a Technical Engineer who will be responsible for the quality inspection, assembly, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of 3D printers. The candidate should have good technical aptitude and hands-on experience with electrical/electronic components, mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
What you'll do
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks and testing of 3D printers before dispatch and after servicing.
- Assemble and install 3D printers and related components as per technical specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic issues in 3D printers.
- Carry out repair, servicing and preventive maintenance of 3D printers.
- Identify defective components and coordinate for replacement or repair.
- Test printer functionality, calibration, print quality and overall performance.
- Handle installation and commissioning of 3D printers at customer locations, whenever required.
- Maintain service and repair records, including issue diagnosis and resolution.
- Support the technical team in resolving customer complaints and technical queries.
- Ensure all repaired/assembled machines meet required quality and performance standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
What we're looking for
- Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of 3D printing technology and 3D printers.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly, wiring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams and manuals.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as multimeter, soldering tools and hand tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
