About the role
We are looking for a skilled Engineer – Roughing to support and execute rough machining operations in the production environment.
What you'll do
- Support roughing operations in machine shop/production line activities
- Assist in machine setup, tooling, and job preparation for machining processes
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications
- Coordinate with senior engineers and supervisors for production execution
- Identify and report operational issues or deviations in process
- Maintain production data, logs, and shift-wise reports
What we're looking for
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Related Field
- 2-5 years of experience in Roughing / Machining
- Basic knowledge of machining processes (Roughing operations)
- Understanding of CNC / conventional machine tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic quality control understanding
