About the role
Bharat Wire Ropes Ltd. is seeking a passionate and innovative IIoT Engineer to support the implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives at our Chalisgaon manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on academic or industrial project experience in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Python programming, industrial automation, and data acquisition. Fresh graduates with strong project exposure are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy IIoT-based solutions for manufacturing and industrial automation.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze machine data from PLCs, sensors, and industrial equipment.
- Develop Python scripts for data collection, automation, analysis, and reporting.
- Integrate sensors, gateways, and edge devices with cloud or local monitoring systems.
- Create dashboards and reports for production, maintenance, and machine performance monitoring.
- Support predictive maintenance and real-time machine monitoring initiatives.
- Troubleshoot IIoT devices, communication protocols, and data connectivity issues.
- Work closely with Electrical, Maintenance, Production, and IT teams to implement smart factory solutions.
- Maintain documentation for IIoT systems, projects, and configurations.
- Continuously explore new Industry 4.0 technologies to improve plant productivity and efficiency.
What we're looking for
- Strong knowledge of Python Programming.
- Good understanding of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) concepts.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, RS485, Ethernet/IP, or similar.
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, data acquisition systems, and industrial networking.
- Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and data visualization tools.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT is an added advantage.
- Understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and networking is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates should have completed academic or internship projects related to:
