About the role
We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Design to manage product and engineering design activities, lead the design team, and coordinate with production and quality departments.
What you'll do
- Manage product and engineering design activities
- Lead the design team and review technical drawings
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for design feasibility
- Ensure designs meet technical specifications and customer requirements
- Update and maintain design documentation and revision control records
- Assist in prototype development and testing activities
- Ensure compliance with design standards and company guidelines
What we're looking for
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical or Related Field
- 5-9 years of experience in Engineering Design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA or similar CAD tools
- Understanding of engineering drawing and design principles
- Leadership and team management skills
